With summer in full swing, people are always looking for fun, new ways to get out of the house and get some fresh air. One of the best ways to get out and have some fun is to visit one of the numerous farmers markets in the North Texas area. Over the last few years, the farm-to-table movement has lead to a large growth in farmers markets across North Texas, so it’s about time you started taking advantage of them. Between the great food, exercise, and the fresh atmosphere, local farmers markets are a great place to spend the day, not to mention the added payoff of getting to cook some awesome food with fresh ingredients later in the week! No matter where you live in the DFW Metroplex, there’s a farmers market near you.
